I hear you ask. I mean of course the Flying Families teddy bear. In Safety Sense Leaflet 2,”Passengers”, published by the CAA it mentions that luggage should not be too heavy; our teddy only weighs about a pound. Young children as I discovered, are easily put off by tubulence, loud noises, and various other
noises that we are all used to in a light aircraft. All discussed in the leaflet http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/33/SRG_GAD_WEBSSL2.PDF. The Flying Families teddy (being a veteran GA flyer) knows how to look out for other aircraft, report their position – to the responsible adult (not the pilot) and keeps young hands away from levers buttons and the like. I’m also told they he is highly
ranked in the cuddliness stakes. A useful and light addition to the pilotstoolkit for taking care of passengers.

The bear can be personalised with a certificate to mark a special occasion, first flight, first circuit, first landing away, whatever you’d like to commemorate. If you are having difficulty persuading your small ones into the air, this might just do the trick. Send us an email and we’ll send you n email you can use to make automated payment and provide all the details we need to make the Flying Families Bear a really personal present!
